| A. - Label printing uses a raised impression to transfer ink to paper which is fed through the press off a roll. General offset printing has a chemically treated printing plate of which the exposed image area accepts ink. Paper is fed into the press as a flat sheet. |

| A. - Dies are either block mounted thin pieces of metal used to press against paper or card to punch out a required shape or die-cast steel plate that wraps around an impression cylinder on a label press again to punch out required shapes. Some examples of usage are for presentation folders, promotional counter cards, stickers for various bottles, etc. |

| A. - NCR stands for no carbon required, it has a chemical which reacts between each sheet and this allows for duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate copies to be created. NCR is commonly used in Invoice Books, Order Books, etc. |
